Prince Spencer, he hails as Chicago’s premiere tattoo artist. He has been tattooing professionally for 7 years. Currently, he is one of the Starred artists at 9 Mag Tattoo Shop which debut on “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” on VH1. Born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, Prince has dodged trouble and put his artistic talents to use. The middle child of 7 siblings, Prince turned to his passion to escape reality.

Aside from tattooing, Prince also has a passion for spray painting, sketching, Chicago Footwork,digital art along with other mediums that gravitate towards his cartoonist artistry background. Merging his artistic passion with his proficient knowledge of black culture, he is able to illustrate black art that illuminates it’s rich history.

Prince believes that every tattoo should tell a story because a tattoo is a sacred marking that stays with you for life.
